This month, we're proud to shine our Community Spotlight on Kelly Bermingham, a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who has been a driving force in the autism and neurodevelopmental community for over 30 years.
Kelly’s passion for supporting both children and adults with autism goes far beyond clinical work. Throughout her career, she has devoted herself to educating and empowering others—whether through hands-on training, writing, or curriculum development. Her journey has impacted countless individuals through personalized support plans, impactful behavioral interventions, and now, cutting-edge tools for group-based instruction.
One of Kelly’s standout contributions to the field came in 2003, when she co-authored Social Skills Solutions: A Hands-On Manual—a practical resource still used by therapists and families today.
Most recently, in 2024, Kelly released her newest publication, The Group Experience, available through Different Roads to Learning and Amazon. This structured curriculum provides a clear, step-by-step framework to help professionals transition learners from one-on-one sessions to group learning environments—a crucial, and often challenging, step for many educators and BCBAs.
Kelly’s unwavering dedication and innovative spirit continue to inspire the ABA community. We’re honored to spotlight her work this month and celebrate the impact she’s had—and continues to have—on learners, families, and professionals everywhere.
