At ABA Toolbox, we’re proud to highlight inspiring professionals making a difference in the lives of children and families. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Rebecca K. Fiscal, OTR/L, our August Community Spotlight.
Rebecca’s journey into occupational therapy is a testament to the power of transformation and purpose. After spending 15 years as an elementary school teacher, a pivotal moment with a pediatric occupational therapist shifted her perspective on student behavior and learning. Inspired by that experience, Rebecca pursued a new path—earning her OT degree in 2017—and has since devoted herself to creating meaningful, lasting change for children and families.
Now based in Asheville, NC, Rebecca supports children, parents, and educators through The Family OT, an organization dedicated to empowering families with practical tools and compassionate care. Her work doesn’t stop there—Rebecca also serves as an Advisory Board Member, actively advocating for the program’s benefits across Southeastern Wisconsin.
Whether she's providing hands-on support, mentoring fellow professionals, or promoting inclusive, movement-based approaches to learning (as seen in her recommendation of Let Them Move), Rebecca leads with empathy, wisdom, and purpose.
Please join us in celebrating Rebecca and her continued impact on the community!
